 Kevin and Alyssa Tolentino launched Elly and Amar Studio Inc. in 2020, starting as an e-commerce brand specializing in 18K gold-plated jewelry. In 2021, they took a bold step—transforming a local spa into a thriving, multi-faceted studio. Today, their vision blends esthetics, community events, and education.

"People often ask why we chose the word “studio” instead of “spa” or “salon.” The answer is simple—our vision extends beyond beauty services. As creatively multi-faceted individuals, we wanted a space that could evolve with us. While our storefront presents as a spa, it’s also a venue for private parties, cultural workshops, community drop-ins, skill training classes, and more. A place where we can bridge the gap between cultures and communities.

In 2024, we introduced Bunso Club, a cultural and arts initiative connecting local creatives in Toronto and Winnipeg. More than just events, it’s a platform for discovery, collaboration, and play.
