Elly and Amar Studio strives to provide both its' Team and Clients the utmost respect within its' environment. In order to do so, we all need to be on the same page - so let's get down to some of our house rules.

WAYS TO BOOK:
If you are booking with us for the first time, our system asks for a card to be held on file. We know, this feels so corporate sometimes but it's needed!
Keep in mind, your card information is not held on our studio database and is managed by SquareUp.
The card held on file can only be charged cancellation fees or no show fees, and will not act as a pre-payment of appointment.
If this task feels a little icky to you there are several ways you can go about completing your booking without it.
If we have your email on file, our system automatically sends you an appointment confirmation 2 days prior to your visit.
Our system will automatically send you an email reminder 8 hours prior to your appointment time
From time to time you may receive a text message from our Square communications system - it will come from a text-only generated phone number. Please do not call this number this is a text-only system.

The more the merrier! We absolutely welcome group bookings of 2 or more. Our online booking system unfortunately is not structured to easily allow this. So please give us a call or shoot us an email and our Studio Assistant can help you out!

We understand that life happens, so we're pretty flexible. We offer all our clients (1) one complimentary reschedule with no charges or fees.
We do ask that when you can, please provide us a minimum of 6 hours notice when cancelling or rescheduling your appointment.
NO SHOWS
All our appointments have a 10 minute grace period, however, keep in mind that we try our best to provide clients with a relaxing experience and when an appointment is cut short we cannot guarantee the quality of service.
We try our best to get in contact with all our clients when an appointment time has expired. Before charging you a fee we will get in contact with you first either via phone or email.
When we've decided a No Show fee must be charged, no further appointments can be booked without the payment being received.
If you are unable to provide a card on file, the following services will require a non-refundable deposit to be paid prior to your appointment.
Parental consent is required for all our services for clients between the ages of 12 - 18 years old.
We do not perform IPL Hair Removal treatments on anyone under the age of 16 years old unless approved by our Team Members.
Our 'mini' aka 'kiddie' services are reserved for clients under 12 years old. These services must have a parent or guardian present at all times.
We cannot perform IPL Hair Removal Treatments or Chemical Peel Treatments on anyone that is pregnant or breastfeeding.
Lash Lift, Tints and Brow Laminations are also prohibited to be performed on anyone pregnant or breastfeeding.
Eyelash Extensions require clients to consent to the service and suggest the advice of a physician when pregnant.
Our manicure/pedicure area has a very limited amount of space. So if you are looking to bring a guest please bare in mind that they may have to sit in our waiting area.
Our treatment rooms do have a seated area, however, they are intimately designed to fit two guests (you and our team member). A stroller/baby carrier may fit - but this is also a tricky scenario for our Team Members when trying to focus on the treatment. We would never want a kiddie to accidentally grab a tool, or worse, hot wax - so if possible please do not bring a kiddie to your appointment.
Sorry! We do not allow pets (except for service animals) to accompany any of our guests, this goes beyond our sanitization protocols.
Our studio is in fact cleaned by us - yes that means sweeping, moping, dusting and sanitizing. So to help us out we do ask that all patrons switch into our comfy cloud slippers when entering our service areas.
You are also very welcome to bring your own house slippers to change into as well.
Our IPL Treatments do require you to come to your appointment pre-shaven. Our team members aren't trained barbers, but we can do our best with a razor if you do forget!
Coming in for some Body Waxing after a hard work out? No problem, we are equipped with cleansing wipes that are readily available to you prior to your appointment!
We perform a lash cleanse before every Lash Extension appointment. However, that does not mean you shouldn't clean your lashes prior to your appointment. When you can, please remove any heavy eye makeup - and don't forget the eye boogies too!
We get that on a rare occasion you may be unhappy with your service - that's a shocker!
Unfortunately we do not issue refunds for services that have been completed. Our team members are highly trained and with that training comes troubleshooting knowledge. We want you to be happy with your service, after all you booked the appointment!
So we will always offer a complimentary fix appointment so we can work together to get it right.

You can purchase an e-gift card on your own by visiting our 'Gift Card' page! You may also purchase a gift card or e-gift card in person at our studio.
Gift cards must be presented at the time of redemption. Physical, printed or on your phone - you decide!
Gift cards not redeemable for cash. And are non-transferrable once the gift card has been added onto a client profile.
