 Your appointment time is reserved just for you. A late cancellation or missed visit leaves a hole in the provider’s day that could have been filled by another client. 

As such, we require 24 hours notice for any cancellations or changes to your appointment. Clients who provide less than 24 hours notice, or do not show for their appointment, will be charged a cancellation fee of $50. 

1 week before:

Avoid blood thinning over-the-counter medications such as aspirin, Motrin, ibuprofen and Alvea

Avoid supplements, including Gingko biloba, primrose oil, garlic, ginseng and Vitamin E

2 days before:

Avoid topical products such as Retin-A, Retinol, Teinoids, Glycolic Acid or any anti-aging products

Avoid waxing, bleaching, tweezing or using hair removal cream on the area to be treated

Do start taking Arnica two days prior to procedure (not required but it will help lessen bruising)

24 hours prior:

Do not drink alcoholic beverages

Do's:

- expect swelling and bruising

- take Tylenol for mild pain

- apply a cold compress onto the treated area to reduce swelling/redness

Dont's:

- massage treated area unless instructed

- remain in the sun for the next 72 hours

- apply any makeup for 12 hours

- drink any alcohol for the next 12 hours

- smoke for the next 12 hours

- exercise for the next 24 hours

Do's:

- expect to have a mild headache

- take Tylenol for mild pain

- be patient, results will take 10-14 days

- schedule a follow up appointment at least 1 week post treatment

Dont's:

-  touch your face for the next 4 hours

- bend or lie down for the next 4 hours

- manipulate the face for the next 2 weeks

- exercise for the next 24 hours

- drink alcohol for the next 12 hours

- remain in the heat or sun for the next 72 hours

One syringe of filler seems like a lot but it is only 1ml of hyaluronic acid!

The amount you will need for a treatment will depend on the areas of the face we are targeting and the change you want to see.

Dermal filler injections can be uncomfortable. We are able to use topical numbing cream, ice or distration tools to manage discomfort during your appointment.

There are a lot of important arteries in the face which increases risk of bleeding and bruising. It is important to choose a trained medical professional for dermal filler treatments to mitigate the risks.
